CURRICULUM QUESTIONS

Each issue bundle and lesson plan contains standards that are directly aligned to your specific grade level. Most all issue bundles (themed units) are separated by 3/4 and 5/6 to accommodate the complexity of thinking involved with those particular standards. 

Anchor activities are aligned to the common core and are sorted by their anchor in their own separate folder, and activities are articulated within most of the unpacking standards organizers.

Most activities (outside of detailed lesson plans and issue bundles) take around 15-20 minutes which is a standard mini lesson format. For the more extensive activities and lessons, times are noted on the lesson plan to offer you guidance when planning your lessons.

All lessons within the Bridging Literacy Community and the Writing Bridge are Common Core aligned.
